PARAÍSO AZUL
La obra de Malala Tiscornia crea un Paraíso salvaje, un relato, un cuento de criaturas mágicas, chamánicas, donde los animales poseen un aura de poder.
Con un uso magistral del dibujo, el grabado y la pintura, sus últimas instalaciones van generando narrativas donde la naturaleza es la protagonista que resplandece en la era del Antropoceno.
Desde una mirada contemporánea y experimental su obra dialoga con artistas del estilo de Kiki Smith, Belkis Ayon y Rousseau entre otros gestando a través de su dibujo un territorio infinito, fractal, expansivo y como en los cristales va creciendo exponencialmente.
Los pájaros, el jaguar , las plantas transitan una cosmogonía que nace en la tierra y se extiende en el cielo donde los azules de su obra trazan una cartografía estelar.
Sus piezas crean constelaciones que como en la antigüedad dibujan en el firmamento un origen del mundo.
Recorrer toda su obra nos permite soñar y confiar en el poder creador de la vida, donde la artista va desplegando desde sus obras un lugar donde la potencia y la sabiduría ancestral de la Selva es nuestro Paraíso.

BLUE PARADISE
Malala Tiscornia´s work, creates a wild paradise, a story, a tale of magical and shamanic creatures, where animals possess an aura of power. With a masterful use of drawing, engraving, and painting, her latest installations generate narratives in which nature takes on the leading role, shining in the era of the Anthropocene.
From a contemporary and experimental perspective, her work engages in dialogue with artists such as Kiki Smith, Belkis Ayon, and Rousseau, among others, creating through her drawings an infinite, fractal, and expansive territory that grows exponentially, much like crystals.
Birds, jaguars, and plants traverse a cosmogony that emerges from the earth and extends into the sky, where the blues in her work trace a stellar cartography. Her pieces create constellations that, like in ancient times, depict the origin of the world in the firmament.
Exploring her entire body of work allows us to dream and trust in the creative power of life, as the artist unfolds from her works a place where the potency and ancestral wisdom of the jungle become our paradise.

Nace en Buenos Aires en 1961, Argentina. Se formó en los talleres de Andrés Waissman, Miguel D’Arienzo , Josefina Di Candia. Litografía con Natalia Giacchetta en Centro de Edición. Desde 1997 exhibe sus obras en Argentina y en el exterior.
En 2016 fue invitada por la Embajada Argentina en Kuala Lumpur, Malasia, a representar Argentina en Art Malasia.
En 2019 fue seleccionada en el Salón Nacional de Artes Visuales, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
En 2021 ,2018 y 2016 fue seleccionada en el Salón Municipal Manuel Belgrano, Museo Sívori, Buenos Aires.
En 2023 fue seleccionada en el Salon Felix de Amador, Quinta Trabucco.
Malala Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1961.
She trained in the studios of Andrés Waissman, Miguel D’Arienzo, and Josefina Di Candia.
Studied lithography with Natalia Giacchetta at the Centro de Edición.
Since 1997, she has exhibited her works in Argentina and abroad.
In 2016, she was invited by the Argentine Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to represent Argentina at Art Malaysia.
In 2019, she was selected for the National Salon of Visual Arts, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
In 2021, 2018, and 2016, she was selected for the Municipal Salon Manuel Belgrano at the Sívori Museum, Buenos Aires.
In 2023, she was selected for the Félix de Amador Salon at Quinta Trabucco.
